Dr. Andrew Torsch
Dr. Andy Torsch grew up in Louisville Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky. He came to Alabama upon his acceptance to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University where he graduated in 1984. Andy moved to Birmingham in 1993 with his wife Martha and their four children and practiced at Patton Chapel Animal Clinic and Vestavia Animal Clinic before opening Main Street Animal Clinic with Dr. McClure and Dr. West in September of 2003.
Away from work, Andy enjoys many outdoor sports and watching college sports, especially basketball (Go UK!), and spending time with his children and 8 grandchildren.
Dr. Torsch likes all aspects of veterinary medicine particularly his time spent in the exam room with his clients and their pets.
Dr. Frank McClure
Dr. Frank McClure is from Louisville, KY. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky. GO BIG BLUE! Dr. McClure attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. Dr. McClure and his wife, Lisa, who is also a doctor of veterinary medicine, have 2 sons. The entire family enjoys competitive tennis matches and most outdoor activities. They have 2 Braque Francais dogs, Milo and Huck. They also have 2 cats, Beau and Mose. Dr. McClure enjoys client education and feels that an educated pet owner is better able to help him help his patients.
Dr. Vaughn Traywick
Dr. Vaughn Traywick was raised in Homewood, AL. He attended Mississippi State
University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2008. Dr. Traywick
went to vet school at Auburn University where he graduated with Honors and received
his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He has a special interest in
Ultrasonography, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. When he's not working, Dr Traywick
enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca and their 2 dogs Darla and Gomer. He can
also be found bouncing around in the Gulf of Mexico chasing fish around!
Dr. Mary Griffin
Dr. Mary Griffin grew up in Birmingham, AL. She attended Auburn University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2010. Dr. Griffin attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University and graduated with Honors in 2014. Her interests include theriogenology and dermatology. She has 3 dogs, Tallulah, Harry and Tyrion. She also has one cat, Leia. In her free time she enjoys travelling, scuba diving and snow skiing.
Kimberly White joined Main Street Animal Clinic in March 2011 as a veterinary technician and moved up to the Office Manager role a few years later. Kimberly grew up in central Florida and moved to Birmingham in 2005. Her and her husband, Jr, have 2 kids, Hailey and Tristan, and an English Bulldog named Fred. Kimberly enjoys reading, spending time with her family and watching Alabama football.
Kristen Burttram has worked at Main Street Animal Clinic since 2010. She has 2 cats, McNubbin and Hagrid, and a dog, Maggie Mae. Kristen is the mom to a beautiful daughter, Carmen, with her husband, Jeb. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, cooking, watching sports or binging a new show!
Rebecca Bromley has worked at Main Street Animal Clinic since 2006. She has 4 kids and a goldendoodle named Maley. Rebecca enjoys spending time watching her kids play sports and travelling with her husband.
Samantha Adams has worked at Main Street Animal Clinic since September 2018. She has a rescued pit bull named Raine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and fostering puppies.
Ginger Johnson has worked at Main Street Animal Clinic since 2019 and is currently a student at Wallace State Community College majoring in nursing. She has 4 dogs – Moose, Millie, Pete and Princess. In Ginger’s free time, she enjoys going to the beach and kayaking with her friends.
Michelle Layfield has been at Main Street Animal Clinic since the clinic opened in 2003. She received her Veterinary Technician License in 2005. Michelle is married and has a set of twins. She enjoys spending time with her family hiking in the mountains.
Wayne Amos has been a part of Main Street Animal Clinic since it opened in 2003. He tried human medicine for a while, but decided it wasn't for him. (Animals don't talk back.) Despite not having any pets, he loves working with his four-legged friends. In his free time, Wayne enjoys attending Universal Studios Orlando, specifically Halloween Horror Nights. Wayne also enjoys writing, art, and the cinema. Check out his podcast 'Stop Drop Rewind', available on Spotify and Apple.
Caitlin McCord started as a veterinary technician at Main Street Animal Clinic in July 2020. She has a blind cat named Alastor. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys having lazy days and watching Netflix with her other cat and 6 dogs.
Catherine Oglesby has been working at Main Street Animal Clinic since 2014, she is one of our Veterinary Technicians. Although she is not a fan of heights, Catherine is an avid roller coaster lover. Catherine also enjoys travelling to new places and having fun hair colors.
Rebecca Oglesby is the Kennel Manager at Main Street Animal Clinic, and has been working here since 2008. She has two pets, an 11 year old kitty named Zoe and a four year old goldfish named Finn. Rebecca loves travelling, photography and going to Universal Studios Orlando.
Hunter Davis has been a kennel tech with Main Street Animal Clinic since June 2019. He has 4 pets, a 5-year-old black lab named Jack, a 10-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix named Bruno and two English shorthair cats named Fat Kitty and Chowder. Hunter enjoys anything related to Alabama sports!
Lauren King has been a kennel tech with Main Street Animal Clinic since November 2020. She has 5 pets, a cat named Ezra, a bearded dragon named Mushu, and 3 dart frogs. Lauren’s hobbies outside of work are horse riding, hiking and loving on all of her animals.
Liliana Chambless has been a kennel technician at Main Street Animal Clinic since January 2021. She is currently a senior at Hewitt-Trussville High School and will be attending Auburn University in the fall. Liliana will be majoring in biochemistry with a pre-veterinary track. She plays lacrosse and when off the field Liliana enjoys watching Netflix and playing with her moody black cat, Sammi.
Juliet Calvin has been working at Main Street Animal Clinic since February 2021 and has loved every minute! She plans to begin cosmetology school in August in hopes of becoming a hair and makeup artist. In Juliet’s free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She has a cat named Piper and a dog named Tucker.
Stephanie Beal has been working at Main Street Animal Clinic since February 2021. She is a full-time college student at Jefferson State Community College to pursue a degree in animal science. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Baby. She is excited for her journey at Main Street Animal Clinic.
